I had an idea a few weeks back when I started putting my list together of things I wanted to buy folks for Christmas. And then it occurred to me…there are a huge number of artists out there like myself who have something unique to offer that you can’t buy in a store.  Why not see if any of them out there were willing to go the extra mile and offer folks a chance at buying a gift that’s signed and/or personalized?

Would you rather receive a random gift from the mall or a CD or book made out to you by the composer or author?  So I put the word out and these artists–some of who I’ve met, interviewed, corresponded with online or, in some cases, never heard from before–liked the idea.  My thanx to them for saying yes to the idea.

Honestly, I haven’t seen anyone else try this, so I’m hoping you’ll browse the listings here, see if something strikes your fancy and give them a try.
